What is your preference for the future

Over the years I have been using CT I have seen many complaints, some have been made repeatedly and strike a cord with quite a few posters. Members’ requirements seem to be changing as is the technology employed in pursuing our hobby. The list below is not exhaustive but I think generally reflects the posts I have seen.

a)      Not enough economy pitches especially with hard standing

b)      We should be able to book hard standing

c)      We should  be able to pitch whatever way round we like

d)     Where access allows abolish arrival times

e)      We should be able to reserve a pitch

f)       We should have pitches with electricity meters

g)      There should be more serviced pitches

h)   Awning pitches should be charged at a higher rate

i)    Introduce  booking deposits

j)    72 hour cancellation period too short, increase it

k). The December release of bookings is unfair, abandon release dates

l)      Restrict weekend booking

Please don’t debate the issues in this thread, if you search hard enough you can find threads on the above where you can carry on the debate but if you had to put them in priority for the club to action what would be your top three priorities in your order of preference?

There is always room for improvement so please don't just say you accept the status quo.

Just C for me, don't use Club Sites enough to be bothered by others. Some good points if we did though, harking back more to how Club used to be, a few of them.

Apart from the ability of being able to book a hardstanding I find most of the suggestions regressive rather than progressive.

Was it DSB or DK but thanks anyway to the David who corrected my OP.

It was DK, Peedee!  I've been out all day - in Cornwall at the moment, in the van.

Many will know that I have pushed to be able to book hardstandings and at least we have been able to achieve a trial on a handful of sites.  I would be interested to hear the results of the trial and if the CC intends rolling this out further..

Got to say I disagree with most of these so I suggest this is your list not the majority of members.

I do concur with B. C & D though.

At the rate this is gathering a reponse, I suspect you are right but what kind of message is that sending to the Club?

We joined the club in 1988 and haven't seen any significant changes . Not expecting any in the foreseeable future.
