I have been a club member for many years and welcomed the introduction of the 'Club Site'. However, I find it the most "treacly" site to use. I explaned this to the Club Chairman at a regional meeting but all he could do was to support it 100pc.

I logged on over an hour ago with the intention of planning this years touring of Scotland. With the assistance of the Site Map I pinpointed CL's and then tried to find places of interest around the area. No such luck. I could book a site but not find helpful information to guide me. However if in Google search "Places of interest in the Highlands of Scotland" sites spew out with info.

Surely in this high tec age, with the Clubs continuous improvement website policy, searching for information to support touring with the Caravan Club should be as simply and user friendly as other web sites.

Come on CC get members of staff to use the site in the way we members would like and not how the 'techies' like.

I am signing off now and returning the the book, atlas, road maps and Google info.
