This 2017 atlas is on a special offer by the CC and it is a BIG disappointment even thouhg as a CC member you get a discount.  Now we know why.

The village where we live is not listed at all and neither are the roads through the village.  The map shows a blank area.  It does nto show thw roads around the CL where we stayed last weekend.  I have an old falling apart AA atals which does show all the small roads and lanes.

Many CLs are down A roads or lanes so how ill you find these CLs if the atlas does not even show them?  We use the atlas as a back up and also when we are being a bit adventurous and touring a local area.

In fact the atlas is useless to us and not fit for purpose, but is it worth returning for the princely sum of £5.99 including postage as it means paying out for another more suitable atlas?

Best bet IMO is to pick up a road atlas from a large dicounter as you can then make sure you buy one that suits.

We have two. One magazine size in the caravan and a larger in the car. Both well used

We have one in the car (I think it might be an AA one - bought for a pound or two) and I circle all the NT and HHA properties in the area where we are staying, to plan fitting them in as we travel around the area.

For me, The best UK Atlas is the AA one retailing at £14.99 in W H Smiths.

Mine is a 2014 version and getting a bit dog eared now so I might splash out on the 2017 version. It has held the same price and is very easy to read. It includes everything and every place that I require and grades Highways from Blue, through Green down to Red then Yellow and finally white.  1st Class!
