It's definitely smaller 🙁

I’m not so sure. I think it’s easy to be put off/fooled by the size of the main font. Strangely, prior to this change, I’ve seen different font sizes in different discussions (one compared to another).

As I type this, I’m struggling to read it.

So can I once it’s posted but not while I’m typing. I’m using a 10” Pad.

Likewise, iPad.

In spite of the reply text being smaller, it is easier to see on my 10 inch Android tablet. It also is quicker on my tablet than on the PC.

Agreed. Smaller but quicker today.

Before this so called improvement I cannot remember seeing any complaints about the font size from any CT contributor. So why on earth change something that wasn't broke? It's not as if there are no other more pressing problems, Server Errors anyone?

Reducing the size of font for replies is NOT user friendly at all.

Who decided to enact this stupid change? Your last sentence about making the website a more welcoming place Rowenna is laughable.

I’ve got much smaller text both to read and too type at the moment🤷‍♀️ IPad.

However, if I pinch and enlarge the page, it’s fine, and has the bonus of me not having to look at all the horrible adverts on the right hand side of the page. 🤣
