Perhaps if a moderator could remove my post about the motorhome recall that might prevent further problems.
Obviously, for whatever reason, this is a sensitive subject and I have no further wish to upset anyone.

Not I. I have sent no PMs.
To David K - I replied to another poster explaining that the situation is on-going. I have no wish to air in public any concerns with a company (especially are things are going well atm). I have read of posters being taken to task for doing so elsewhere on the Forum.
And now the thread has veered way off topic. I now regret my post in response to the OP - which, if I recall, was about Red Pennant. I will bow out of the discussion.

Apologies MorrisTraveller that I've inadvertently made assumptions, but having received a 'ticking off' for posting on what you consider is an unrelated topic, within the thread, and then receiving emails making the same point I mistakenly tied the two together.
Obviously I don't wish to make further errors, so like you will step away from this thread.

Had need to use RP a few weeks ago, the personal side of the insurance. They kept in regular touch whilst we were in Austria to enquire after my wifes treatment, good service.

I said I would step away, but I wanted to warn others, that from another follow-up email, there is someone attempting to police what we do and say on here. Apparently they are not a member of Club Together or the Caravan Club, and have nothing whatsoever to do with any poster! Nuff said!!

In general Red Pennant has an excellent reputation and most people praise tit very highly. As with any organisation though there is always going to be the odd one that goes wrong particularly when trying to arrange a solution to problems hundreds of miles away. Basically the problem complained of could have happened with any of the breakdown services and it would not sway me into going elsewhere.
