Hi,
Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I am wondering if anybody could offer some advice please?
We pay for the Premium UK Plus breakdown cover, which unfortunately we had to use recently when we discovered a mechanical fault with the van whilst it was parked at home.
Our van was recovered to our local garage by Mayday, however they have not been able to fix the fault, and having called around some other motorhome specialists, it seems nobody else can either, so we are now in a position where we need to get the van recovered home whilst we consider our next move.
My issue is that we are being quoted £150 for the van to be recovered back home (which is within 10 miles). Surely that cannot be right?
I have checked the policy document which is pretty vague, but nowhere does it list this charge, nor does it go into any great detail regarding recovering the vehicle home.
Any advice you could give would be helpful.
