Mayday recovery

Yesterday unfortunately our vehicle broke down and we had to be uplifted home as all garages closed.  No issues with recovery as they were on time and courteous.

Our dilemma is the nature of the fault and it requires a specialist with the correct diagnostic software equipment and know how.

The nearest local garage that we use is 12 miles away and we only use them for minor servicing.  The major servicing and repairs are done by a garage in Shrewsbury that specialises in Jeep repairs and we can trust them.  However they are nearly 50 miles away although there is a Jeep  dealer less than 30 miles away.  We do NOT trust this dealership that is nearby and would not even take a pedal car to them.

Would Mayday uplift the vehicle to our preferred garage for repair which is nearly 50 miles away from our home.  We have the full Mayday package.  Thanks.

As it took Mayday over 3 hours to arrive, how do we go about gte the compensation payment.  We were happy to wait an hour or so, but 3 hours was stretching it a bit!

Just write to them with the details of the callout. From what I have heard they are unlikely to quibble.
