Here in very wet Gower, South Wales. Arrived on Monday after a very stressful journey towing solo. Basically, I pulled up on the CL and positioned the van and proceeded to unhitch. Pulled the car away and heard a bang- stupidly I had not disconnected the electrics! The car socket appeared fine and the van connection seemed to have just become undone- the wires were all still attached. I put the plug back together and reconnected it to the car but no joy-the van lights appeared not to work.

I rang Mayday at 3.45pm and a very helpful and reassuring guy called Tim took all the details and informed me that someone would be with me within the hour! Just as promised, a local breakdown service arrived within the promised timescale. The engineer looked at the socket and plug and had a fiddle, saying that he didn't think there was much wrong. He got me to reconnect to the car and hey presto all was well! He had a good look under the van to reassure himself that nothing had been disconnected.

I would just like to thank staff at Mayday, and the local breakdown agent for this excellent service.
