The latest edition of the magazine shows a 20% discount there if you use the club voucher. We went there a couple of weeks ago and the man selling tickets knew nothing about the offer and we had quite a job to explain the discount and why we were entitled to it. He did give in eventually and the tickets showed a railway discount, so if you do go be prepared to argue your case and take some evidence of the offer.

I would add that I mentioned this to the site wardens who also were not aware of the discount either.

It is a decent day out though.

We always take the Great Day’s out booklet with us if trying something new. I don’t think it’s enough just to show membership cards, you have to use one of the vouchers from the booklet, or printed from website. Certainly some of places we have used ours, such as NY Moors railway were aware. We used it at Eden Camp at Malton as well one year, but don’t think that’s included anymore. Thanks for heads up, it’s not that far from us Wildwood, somwe might very well visit😃

It's quite impressive, but we preferred the walk up and haven't actually used the cable cars. There's a lot of industrial history in the area as Cromford not that far away as well as Matlock itself.

Perhaps if he had taken the cable car he wouldn’t have died wink

We did have the voucher but it was printed off the internet as the book we asked for never arrived. The man on the cash desk had never heard of the offer and was very reluctant to grant it.

It does, they sent me one but despite 3 requests for a OS co-ordination booklet it still hasn't arrived. I know it's out there somewhere but I suspect the 3 people who have them have exhausted the print run.
