I see this is available and vouchers can be printed out, but will the booklet soon be available in the shop? I find the booklet easier to use on the move.

As we are now turning out thoughts to the journey back from Spain and will be spending Easter at home, I thought I'd see what is on offer in Wales. I loaded the map view, clicked on 2 symbols in the Brecon area which gave details of venues in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. So it would seem the website is not even accurate.

Re TTDA's post: Not being able to print things off once you are away is the reason I started the thread about portable printers some time ago. Occasionally, one has a need, and the more one is away from home, the more one finds that need. If I successfully find one, I will report back.

Thanks WTG, but we are in a cottage, so adding a printer of any kind to my luggage, either with or without MH isn't really the way I want to go!

I just usually tear out a few paper vouchers from booklet and keep them in my wallet, all year round. That way if we do an impulse visit I am fore armed. We hardly use printer at home as well, just keep booklet in MH.

Having a card that could be read would be great, covers all aspects then and does away with need for booklet or printers. Plus as you have found, a booklet is far better than the website!laughing

Choose Advanced Option on right, click, then choose Wales in region area on left, leave all boxes open and press search.

Thanks brue that works fine.

It does seem a little poor if you just put Wales in the search by destination field and then press search, it only returns 16. You should not really need to go into advanced unless you want the other options.

It's still the 2017 version available in the club shop.

Although it won't let you buy it.😂

I emailed Club last week to try and find out when it was due out. Only had the automated acknowledgement so far.

Update: just had an email from HQ, GDOG should be in print and in shop for Mid March. So it's print off your own vouchers until then!

Just spent several long drawn out minutes in the York Jorvik shop clutching my home printed club vouchers. Shop staff in denial, me, trying to search the club website for proof. Manager consulted for further proof, couldn't work out what the discount was, I told them it was 10%, we all gave up and they gave me 15%! Now happy owner of wooden viking sword and book.

Great result brue! Hope you are enjoying York. laughing Haven't been into Jorvik for years, enjoyed the museum bit the most. Did you know Tim Peake's space craft is on view at Railway Museum?

The new Jorvik centre is excellent, the animatronics (?) and upgraded pod travel are impressive, worth a visit!

Yes, thanks,  I read about the capsule TDA. I don't know whether we'll get to the railway museum this time as we are keeping a wary eye on the weather. We might have to leave early and cancel our onward stay if things get worse.

Noise on site not too bad, we think the massive pile driver has conked out!
