Hi everyone,

Many of us will be out and about visiting friends and family over the Christmas period, and seeing as it's Wednesday I wanted to remind you that members can stay in our glamping pods, Airstream caravans or camping pods for free on Wednesdays when booking two nights or more.

Find out more information here

All the best,

Hannah

I have no desire for a pod personally. Maybe a safari tent type thing in the lakes on  C&CC site might appeal for a two day break.

Hi JVB66,

You're absolutely right, moving forward we are looking at a some more sites, universally accessible units and larger units for families.

2019 has been very popular for glamping bookings. There have been three times more bookings in 2019 than there was in 2018, even with 10 more units available. This year 21% of bookings were made by members, and looking ahead to 2020, half of all bookings so far are from members as well, which is fantastic!

We do understand that not all members are in the market for a glamping break, but we are pleased to be able to offer members’ friends and family 10% discount to allow the whole family to holiday together, as well as Free Member Wednesdays.

Sounds impressive, but what percentage of available nights were actually taken up? For example 3 x 1% of booking in 2018 is only 3% of possible bookings in 2019, but it's 3 times as many!!
