Electrical Consumption

We are considering booking at Dornafield Park in Devon which is a CC AS site. When on site we tend to use mains electricity where possible, rather than gas. I believe the Caravan Club provides up to 16 amp power, but Dornafield only 10 amps, according to their website. My caravan handbook informs me that a microwave alone uses 10 amps. So if you have the fridge, TV and heater also switched on, you are going to trip the park circuit breaker. We always are carefuI and manage quite well with 16 amps, but to have to keep switching everything off using 10 amps would seem a bit of a pain. I wonder how other caravanners manage, or do they just use gas where applicable?
