Just renewed my club WIFI for another year, why did I bother. It's either so slow it's useless or 9 times out if 10 it's not available. If the WIFI is so unreliable etc why charge for it or just charge a minimal fee. It a license to print money to charge for a service that is either useless or not available. Does anyone actually find the wifi any use. Maybe it's just the sites I am using.

I don’t bother with it. I use the sim card in my ipad at a cost of £5.00 per month, and another in my car that becomes a hub that other people can log into (if I let them have the password).

Why did you renew it. Did you use it last year and was it OK?

I am pleased with CC wifi where it is available

i understood that CC had made improvements so renewed. The day after the site I was on had a notice up saying there was problems with wifi. i am guessing some sites, perhaps sites I have not visited have very good wifi. It just appears that those I have used have poor wifi.
