I bought a club approved Snooper satnav at the newburyshow in 2013.they are supposed to have free annual updates.I cannot get the update without first buying a 8gb memory,as mine doesnt have enough capacity, and when i eventually got to the update they want £100.my satnav is the caravan version from capitaloutdoors.Has anyone else had this problem please,if so, how did you resolve it.?

I would never buy anything approved by the club, it's usually very expensive and no better that cheaper alternatives. My Garmin cost about £100 and never been a problem.  Whenever I look at stuff reviewed in the CC magazine I always think I would never pay that amount.  Anyway you pays your money and you take your choice.

Thank you Oneputt, as you said 'you pays your money and take your choice' the last time I checked we live in a society where we can make these decisions!

Ian, don't think I said anywhere you or anyone else couldn't make a choice, I just gave my view!

Hi Oneputt, sorry I wasn't implying anything. I was just making an observation.
