Caravan Club Insurance

Will the Club please consider partnering a company that can offer a more comprehensuive range of insurance products to its customers please???

We have just bought a German made caravan (first problem) and want to tow it to Spain to leave in storage there so we can use it in the winter months without towing it backwards and forwards to the UK (second problem).  

As a reasonably sensible consumer I phoned both Clubs for insurance quotes as well as a couple of independent brokers.  The result was a variety of quotes but nothing from the Club.  They cannot quote for vans stored overseas.  We've accepted a quote from the 'other' Club which was far more helpful.

It is simply not acceptable that the Club does not cater for a wider range of eventualities in their insurance provision to members.
