Can Australians get caravan insurance?

My caravan insurance for the year is due for renewal on 16th April.

I'm worried that the insurance isn't worth the paper it's written on. 

My experience with British insurance companies isn't good, taking my money only to find out a month later that I shouldn't have been insured in the first place and the policy wasn'tn worth anything . . . . . great, if I'd have had a crash in my first month!

Does the Caravan Club insure Australian driver's licence holders who own a caravan in the UK, or are we "uninsurable", have to go thro an insurance broker and pay three times the cost that a UK driving licence holder need pay??
