CAMC Caravan Insurance

A quick question for you all with the club insurance.  We are new to it this year having previously been with the other club.

We are signing for our new caravan on the 24th and dropping our old van off at the same time.  We are then leaving it with the dealer and picking it up 5 days later.

The Clubs' policy restrictions talk about the caravan being allowed out of it's storage compound for 72 hours to be taken home for servicing, loading, cleaning etc.....

But my question is what about out of the compound and with the local dealer????   The local dealer has over 1,000 vans on site and they work on a 1 week turnaround for service work as a minimum.  They also only put a hitchlock on the van when it's with them because in the event of a fire vans they need to drag vans.

I had also incorrectly assumed that when the van was with them it would be on their insurance and it is, but only if they damage the van.

So does anyone know what the stance would be if anything happened to the van when it's with a dealer and they have only fitted a hitchlock on?

Your best bet is to contact the club/insurers to check with them directly, rather than rely on interpretations from members on this forum.
