Barclay card freedom reward points.

Never had a Barclay card so don't know much about it but do recall this subject being discussed a year or more ago. I believe there is no benefit with regard to site nights these days.

Have you approached the Club and asked, RLG?

I would expect an answer in the negative as the ties between CC and B/card seem to have been broken.

We don't have a Barclaycard, but if you are disillusioned with that, and you travel abroad, then an alternative could be Tesco credit card, which we do have.

Collecting points with that, you get vouchers, which in turn can be spent, amongst other things, on Eurotunnel crossings and certain ferry crossings.  I know nothing is exactly free, but booking a tunnel crossing twice a year using those vouchers gives me the feeling of a good value crossing!

That sounds like a good idea, RLG.....I wonder what the CC think about it?

I did suggest this when the Club Card was withdrawn although I think club gift vouchers for specific amounts would work better as under the new scheme site night vouchers would take for ever to obtain.  Instead the card vouchers will go towards a Christmas turkey.
