You should be able to reserve a pitch

why will the club not reserve a pitch for you ? if you are staying on a site for more than say 7-10 days you should be able to be given  a choice of pitches at time of booking i believe , i have had to squeeze my twin axle van onto a small pitch while a small 2 berth van  occupies a pitch suited for a much larger caravan or even some spaces are taken up by a small tent , that can not be right . yet the club will accomadate american motorhomes WHY THEM IF THEY ARE PREPARED TO DO IT FOR THEM THEN ITS THE SAME FOR EVERYONE IS IT NOT  , after driving for 5 hours you do not want this headache , its about time the club offered this service  and pulled its finger out , i am prepared to have any pitch if i am only they for the weekend or  a few days .
