Why do we have a Club Chaplain?

Well spotted Jay perhaps a prayer or two helps keep the steam driven forum going that bit better.

I'd love to know what role he plays in the Club.

interesting question, hope the club comes on here and answers.  We have a school chaplain but it is a non paid position and caters for all religious needs from whatever regilion. Faith schools have a paid position. I really can't see a need in the club though?

The C&CC doesn't appear to have a chaplain. 

Perhaps we should all be church going members of the CC? Another daft idea if tou ask me!  Why would I need a Chaplain?

they have the chaplin because the IT dept are constantly saying "god help us"

What role does this lady play? I seriously question the need for a chaplain in CC. 

It's ironic when one dares not mention religion on the forum.

I'm ambivalent but find it strange that the club retain a chaplain but any mention of religion on CT will invoke the T&C's.  Wonder if the Chaplain is aware of this moroturium?
