If you could, what five changes would you make to the clubs rules, procedures, systems etc.

Mine would be

1) book 12 months ahead on a rolling basis

2) be able to book late checkout

3) pitch anyway on your pitch, nose in, sideways etc

4) never have all toilet blocks closed at same time for cleaning

5) more full service pitches

no moaning about rules are rules, you signed up etc, I just wondered if there were any common

threads.

Don't you think it might confuse members? wink

JayEss - Members live in a permanent state of confusion, and then they have to deal with the club.smile

Aren't many of the members, like me, of an age where it is normal to be a tad confused?

1, book a H/S pitch

2, if no problem with access flexible arrival times

3, electric meters or choice of non electric pitches on all sites

4, rolling calendar to book 12 months in advance

5, Late availability for all week not just weekends.

My choices would be:-

  1. More fully serviced pitches
  2. Bookable Hard Standing pitches
  3. Better search facilities when booking ie for Serviced pitches etc
  4. Late availability for all week

mmm, is more service pitches getting second place?

Posted on 17/01/2018 13:51

It might well be. I do wonder if the fact that if you book a serviced pitch it almost guarantees a hardstanding might actually skew the popularity of such pitches? When I see so many motorhomes on serviced pitches it does make you think.  I have no objection to serviced pitches but wonder that that we should first go down the route of being able to book hardstandings. If after that there is still an unfulfilled demand then perhaps then go ahead and add more to the network?
