Tow car matching service

If your car has a MIRO of 1600kg and can tow up to 1900kg legally, why does the tow car matching on the CC site reject this as the 85% is only a guideline and is not binding on any one?

Surely this is supplying incorrect information and the tow car matching service should supply the correct details and not falsify figures to suit their own agenda?

Obviously they could place a warning that it does not fall within the outdated 85 % guideline.  Many experience towers are more than capable of towing caravans which exceed the MIRO of the car.

I am not advocating exceeding the kerbweight of the car if a newbie, but asking for the CC to present factual information with a warning.

This is under club member4ship as only CC members can access this service.
