Tourer Explorers, what are the club thinking of?

The latest magazine has introduced two new Tourer Explorer characters.

Am I the only one to think that the description for each character is stereotypical and sexist?

The female character is a bossyboots whilst the male character is an explorer! She likes counting out and dividing tasks whilst he aspires to be an environmental scientist. Need I say more.

Both characters are white so no ethnic diversity there either.

This isn't a matter of me being politically correct but the CC are clearly going back to the 50's in their thinking. You might as well call them Janet and John or Peter and Jane and be done with it.
