The next announcement???

And not having a minimum no. of nights is a good thing in my opinion. It stands the club out from many of its competitors and is an asset to many of us 'tourers'. Afterall the club is a network of sites, we may not spend consecutive nights on one specific site but many of us spend consecutive nights on the network sites.

Just had a look at that thread David. I didn't see it as a serious thread but merely  "Tongue in Cheek" humorous opinions about the CMC and their announcements.

We're not having a change of name and a new logo are we ?

Not one of the big announcements has been exciting. The club and I do not share the same definition of exciting. 

My guess is that it's got something to do with tents/pods/yurts going by the hard sell and frequency of featuring in the magazine 

Maybe "Walls" have claimed copy write on their logo,

New and improved Club Shop!

Could this be the big announcement we have been waiting for?

Hi everyone,

There was no one 'big' announcement as such however the show is where we like to update members about new products and services such as our new site, Cayton Village Club Site and the new online Club Shop. I hope this clears up any confusion. 

Following on from my previous post I got a very bemused look from a member of staff today at the NEC when I asked if there had been any major announcement before I arrived. Only just seen Rowena's post so it was hardly surprising!!!!

I'm banned from there as I had the temerity to challenge a retired copper about the outcome of the Hillsborough enquiry before the verdict was out. Think he might have been there on that fateful day and was feeling the heat 

Nobody said  a  thing  about  Club  Matters  to  me  when  I  was  on  the  stand  today.  I  asked  if  Rowena  or  Rochelle  was  around  and  just  got  a  negative  response  to  my  questions  and  no  more.
