Shock Horror!   Have just discovered the cost of our annual  4 day trip to this popular site has gone up from £114.80 last year to £130.80 this year.  I know the site is in an excellent position and is very popular but the facilities are fairly basic and tired.   Can such an increase really be justified?

Walked past the site yesterday. Why anyone would want to park in an urban area  that just resembled a car park beats me. Much nicer Cls in the Bristol area.

It's simple, location,location,location.

We have stayed at the site many times to enjoy Bristol without needing to drive/park and our Granchildren love being able to go out of the back gate and be by the water.

Have used Hortham  a couple of times and would go back but would not return to Chew Valley as we found it decidedly odd.

In regard to the car park comment I would say that if it is then it's the closest I will get to be a MH user! Smiley, smiley
