Having just received new site map I am a bit puzzled as to why our caravan (and motorhome) club is promoting an independent site on front cover.Gruinard bay is as far as I know privately owned . Surely there are equally good pictures of our sites to promote.

Perhaps it is a paid for add? Personally I care less as long as this years map ............. when it finally arrives!! ...... is more viewable than the last poor offering

Try living on the N/S crease and see how fast it lasts frown

I now cut it into A4 sized pieces and scan it into PDF files that I can stick on Google Drive and a stick. Use them then on Computer or Phone anywhere

No, I 'm not moving.

We only use ours on 3 or 4 evenings in December to plan the following years tours.

The previous one was a nightmare to read with the colour contrasts chosen. In the last one is pristine as we used the one before that for planning and marked on the new club sites.

I don't understand the problem here and how "nicke" thinks the club is promoting an independent site.

For those of us who know the area, the picture is taken from a lay-by, which overlooks Gruinard Bay at the side of the A832. There happens to be a motorhome in the shot because the photo was entered in the club's 2015 photo competition. (See first page of the Handbook)

A lovely area, a worthy winner of the competition and an appropriate picture for the cover of the Handbook.
