just ordered a membership gift pack. Any idea how long it takes to get a membership number to book a site? Never ordered a gift pack before. Anyone know what is enclosed?

hi, just joined myself, got mine within the week but card comes seperate which came first, do get a booklet with information about sites in uk, also a map of britain where you can see where the sites are and some other information, don't forget you get discount with your card going through M6 toll while towing caravan, you won't need to wait long...

I've been s member for over 15 years. M6 toll offer we have used a few times. Definitely worth doing.  I'm just hoping he pack comes before we go away in 2 weeks time to get our friends booked on to the site too!

Where card is required to be left in car in parking area no problem but if you have to show card, say at Minsmere, I believe that the CC card only covers 1 person, although I may be wrong!

OH has a CC card and I have a CC card - although now both RSPB members anyway. We did visit one site where payment was via the parking charge nefore I joined RSPB. When we went in and I approached the desk with CC card the chap said OH you will want a note to put in  your window, I will get you one. When I said 'It's OK we have already paid and displayed' he insisted in giving me a refund.

He is obviously not an MP then!
