Having seen a neighbour on site with a 45 yr membership badge I wondered how these are obtained? Apart from the obvious being a member for 45 yrs. Do they get issued on passing a milestone if so which ones 10, 20, 30?

anyone know??

I don't think 20 year stickers fetch much, but 40s sell well on e Bay.

I view membership stickers as similar to personalised  number plates on cars - I wouldn't be seen dead displaying either

The US have a very apt name for personalised number plates  - they call them "vanity  plates!"

Each to their own I guess, Grant. We all make different choices.

There is a huge difference between a retained number that has been in a family for years and an attempt to make a word or phrase by bawdlerising a recent issue sequence.

I am very happy to currently have on display a number that has been with our family for decades.

I've just been sent a 15 year sticker, seems like a total waste of time and money to me!

It would certainly make more sense if they were sent out with your new cards, rather than a separate mailing. Every little saving helps.
