Out and about yesterday and we saw our first new C&MC CL Sign.  We also saw one of the old ones.

Contrary to what people have said the new sign showed up a lot better against the green countryside and was easy to spot compared to the old one.

I personally think it is because the new signs are very bland and lack the contrast of colours as the old ones. Have used/ visited about 10 sites since the change and have been lucky that I have not needed to look out for the signs as I knew where all the sites were.

Green and green against a hedge. No, sorry, I don't get how that can stand out better than something mostly white with a bit of turquoise and ochre in it. The old signs were more aesthetically pleasing but not more noticeable.

Once we've all accustomed ourselves to looking for the garish new signs, it'll be simple and we'll forget the old green.
