But...isn't it about time the club started to charge for dogs as in the way it does for children. After all the club has a cost to bear in providing 'dog walks', 'dog waste bins' as it does with play area's for children. There is also a hidden cost when the warden has to clear up after dogs have fouled roadways etc. On a visit last week to a popular CC site, it was as if we had pitched in the local dog kennels. Of the 100 or so pitches, and it was fuill, some members had 1/2 dogs, some had 3, some had 4, some had..would you believe 5 dogs. Two pitches had 10 dogs between them. And there is also a commercial consideration...
