Hi

Short answer, No. To keep the same membership number your subscription has to be annual.

You could try membership services, they'll know better than I.

No problem G/C just let your membership lapse when renewal time comes. It's so easy to rejoin at a time more convenient to yourself.

You will more than likely have a slightly different membership number when you rejoin, but that is more or less irrelevant as you will still be able to enjoy all the benefits you enjoyed before.-----  Whats in a number?.

ye was thinking I could do that re join at a later date don't have any insurance policies with them so it wont affect that ,and as my wee camper is off road at the moment gives me some breathing space as I need the £50 to pay for other things

GC, don't forget when joining again unless you go Direct Debit you will have to pay an extra £10 joining fee. They have you by the short and curly's if you are looking to save a bit.frown

Just click on 'Join up' from £51 and notice that little asterisk, a further page tells you about the joining fee in addition unless going for DD.

Is there not a 'introduce a friend' offer where you both get a voucher? Wait to re-join, find another member to introduce you, bingo.

We have a family annual membership for theme parks and other attractions. Each year you renew you get an extra week added, at one time it was a month. We are up to 15 months per year now. Also get other incentives to rejoin such as bring friends for a fiver, or bring kids for free, a number of fast track passes per person. That leisure organisation knows how to attract families for adventures. They also have 2 events per year where massively discounted annual passes are on offer. You just turn up at any time of the day, no booking required on one day per year. We combine use of CAMC sites and CLs to make full use of our limited leisure time as families with school aged kids face. You also get 20% off on site purchases of food and drink. Add the free car parking, it's a right proper family adventure attraction.

CAMC seems so very old fashioned and money grabbing in compare.

I would leave it until you know that you intend to use a C&MC site, that could be months away.

Agree with KeefySher get another member to recommend you or join the other club for a year to see if they suit, that's what we are doing.

Hi all

Thanks for all your replies to groovy cleaner.

If you are making a single card payment we allow around 6 weeks for renewals (after which your Membership will lapse) so you could delay payment until the end of April. Your renewal date will remain 31st March. If you are on a Direct Debit the payment is collected automatically so the only option you would have is to cancel and then rejoin at a later date as suggested above.

If you then rejoin on Direct Debit, yes, you will only pay the £51 annual fee.

Any problems or to speak to us further don't hesitate to call 01342 318813.

Cheers,

Helen
