First Aid on Club Sites

I have been wondering for some time whether the Club has given any thought to installing AED defibrillators on site.

Given the number of people using Club sites; the age of many members and the associated risks of people strenuously moving vans about manually, there seems a  potential for people to be at risk of heart attacks etc.

The modern and automatic AED defibrillators are not cheap, but they are virtually 'idiot proof' and give clear pecise instructions to the user.  In other wods you cannot really do anyone any harm, but could so easily save a life with the device.

A portable device OUTSIDE(no good being locked away out of hours) every reception office could prove an invaluable assett to the Club's membeship and visitors.
