Democracy I'll Try Another Run At Free Speech

Where was the democracy in the new Logo, it's great to include Motorhomes but why spend a fortune so some idiot can design something from Monster University? The old Logo was recognisable as a brand, was tweakable and had a green identity. What is worrying is that this has been foisted on us, is this an attempt to turn the club into a private company and be sold? If so look at the state of the AA & RAC.

The Logo should be scrapped and any attempt to stop this being a members club.

If you're wondering about the title, this post was blocked today, has someone something to hide?

There is no democracy and this thread will be closed shortly!

Its very sad, but I shall most likely try the other club when renewal next roles around.

The management of the CC and its resources to members has been a series of bumbling shambles now for the last couple of years and I no longer feel part of a 'club' nor a valued member, so no longer feel any loyalty to the organisation or brand (what's left of it).

Rather than spend our money on improving network capacity, it has been frittered on an unnecessary rebrand (you can't polish one, but you can coat it in glitter and sprinkles!)

Having never been a member of the other club, perhaps it is time to give them a go, I doubt they can be any worse!

I'm going to vote with my feet and have today returned my unwanted window stickers to the board at Grinstead!

How thoroughly disappointing CC!

Morning Graemebf

To be fair, all the freedom of speech you require is available in the two discussions which are already open covering the Club's recent announcement!

Duplicate discussions are merely being locked to avoid exactly that - duplication ie the same comments being made in numerous discussions rendering the flow of comments on the topic difficult to follow.

Cheers

Bugs.
