Covid..... What Covid 19, just Covid 19 idiots

Just back from one of our local sites for a 3 day test to see that everything works as it should, ready for a 14 nighter to a lovely Cl North Norfolk in June.

We are both totally outraged by many of our fellow members that disregarded daily the site regulations regarding the covid 19 safety protections laid down at the Carsington site by the excellent wardens that go to great lengths to ensure the site is safe for every single one of its membership .

It wasn't just the one but the many.

We  were on a pitch opposite the facilities block & the number of people entering & using the toilet areas with total disregard for wearing a mask inside, never mind stopping to use the hand gel sanitisation & wrist band control to show that a maximum of 6 people inside at anyone time.

Thank goodness we use our own caravan  end washroom, if this is how so called responsible people act when asked to perform simple instructions even a child of 5 could follow, the entire network should be shut down with immediate effect, because if it's happening on one site there will be others too.

There has been a great increase in first time caravan/motor home owners this year, I wonder how many of those flouting the covid19 rules are new members?undecided

We are actually staying in a static caravan this week and it had been spotlessly cleaned prior to our arrival but obviously when you go out for the day at some point you need to use public toilets where you do sometimes see the same type of selfish people.yell

Life still goes on; just make sure you stay as safe as you can.wink

If my memory serves me correctly, last year, different sites adopted slightly different systems with regard to the bands.  I know one site issued everyone with a band and they had to place the band on the hook when you went in to the toilet block, retrieved your band on the way out.  Everyone was expected to hand in bands with the barrier 'key' at the end of their stay.  It could be that because of different systems last year, some are confused.

I understand that the Club have standardised the system across all sites this year.  Perhaps it will take time for everyone to learn the system.  Hopefully everyone will have learnt by the time we visit Durham Grange, sometime in June... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

That's the joy of a self-contained MH. All our own facilities go with us from kitchen to washroom. smile

yes i agree we have all got to follow the guide lines but you dont need comments like compass 362 as made about closing sites down when all members are desperate for holidays,if your that worried what other people are doing stop at home and spend another six months looking through your window anyway most members in the club will possibly be fully vaccinated.

Think all of the idiots are on Durham Grange this week. Bands not hung up on entry then if they are, bands not taken down on exit. Both male and female to blame.
Could all members read instructions as it benefits the safety of all members.

Stay safe everyone.

Complicated ..think I might get it wrong.

Is it better to take one’s own rubber band in order to gain admission to a toilet when none are available at the door? And a few spares perhaps to assist fellow members in distress?

From our limited use of the facilities the main issue seems to be folk leaving bands on the hooks when they leave. Several of the sites we stayed on were small with petite blocks and first thing in the morning it was clear I was the only one in, however several bands were on. I removed them and returned all to the pot on exit.

If you read the NHS website, being fully vaccinated does not stop you from contracting Coronavirus or spreading it. We still need to follow the guidelines.

If anything knocks us back into restrictions or another lockdown it’ll be folk thinking it’s all over & we can go back where 2019 left off๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป‍โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ™

It is not contracting the virus ,even when vaccinated ,it is it is IMHO to reduce the severe cases we have had that so very nearly overwhelmed  the NHS ,not ,even now it seems helped by those still in denial,,or as has also recently  happened not closing our borders
