Cost of CLs for the solo member

Hi,

Is it just me or are there any other single members out there a bit miffed about the pricing of CL’s for the solo camper?  I have a small motorhome and like using CLs.  When I joined the club CLs were priced in a similar way that club sites still are i.e. a pitch fee plus a sum for each person/adult per night.  This seems a very fair approach bearing in mind the more people staying the more water, electric and other facilities are likely to be used.

Can anyone explain to me the reason for the change with the pricing on CLs?   I think it was last year when CLs changed to a fee that includes the pitch and two adults – great for couples but rather unfair to us solo members.  If costs had to go up then surely either the pitch fee or the charge per person per night should have been increased not simply put the cost onto solo members.
