CC caravan inspectors

You are offered a bronze, silver or gold inspection all varying price for a pre-purchase inspection.

I would like to see this extended to include caravans already purchased where you have had the caravan for awhile and you are having issues with a dealership.

It would be nice if the CC inspector did a report where warranty issues have not been rectified and the report can stand up in a court of a law.

Recently we have had issues with a dealership where warranty items have not been repaired despite the dealership having the caravan for over 6 weeks.

In addition the caravan had a service at the dealership in question in Oct 2014 and the service included a damp check which stated no damp found.  As a result of a leak into the caravan, the caravan was kept under cover for a period of 6 weeks over Dec and Jan 2015.

In Feb when it was returned for a warranty item that had not been fixed when they had it for 6 weeks, severe damp was found where you could push your finger into the wall.  The dealership stated that this had probably happened in the 6 weeks after we had collected the caravan!

Now if we had a report from a CC inspector that could be used in court, that would be the way forward for us as we are still sitting with 3 unrepaired warranty items on our 2011 caravan plus the damp issue!  Yell
