Booking Club Sites (and non attendance)

I have a suggestion that might deter people from cancelling or not turning up to booked sites.  Why not pay a non refundable deposit when booking.  We sometimes use non club sites, especially in the Lake District which take £15.00 deposit, or even the full amount when booking.  If there is a change in dates, and you give enough notice, perhaps it could be transferred.
