April Gripes

I had to read the letter from Graham Kelly (April issue) twice to see if I was reading it wrong, but no.  He and his wife had conducted a "washroom survey".  Now apart from the creepy perv element to doing such a thing would I want this couple pitched next to me?  Definately no.  Would they be noting when we get up, when we go to the loo, when we retire etc?  Not very nice thinking you may have this next to you.  We like many others go on holiday to get away from the daily stress of work and to enjoy ourselves.  We don't go on holiday to be surveyed/watched by other holiday makers.  The fact is we are all different - we have different cars, different caravans, different likes, different dislikes.  If you cannot accept that everyone is different from you and your views, then perhaps caravanning is not the holiday for you.  Save yourself the pitch fee and sit outside your local public toilets with your clipboard instead.
