Now that all the turbulence of last year's name change is over, I really hope that the Club can get the website sorted out

It really is a disgrace !!

It is so S-L-O-W that many a times I just give up ....... the CCC site by comparison is lightening fast and very responsive & a pleasure to use

As one of the leading caravanning clubs in the UK, the website above all else is what really lets the organisation down

K - so you've never seen the expression "ovey there" used on CT before? Where have you been all this time? To help you out, try looking for posts from folk who spend a lot of time "over there" - they seem quite fond of it.

Glad to have helped! wink

I do both , it' not a case of either or but unless I am flying somewhere I couldn' drive to such as the caribbean then it' driving every time and to places there are no package tours.

Ah yes I recall, that’ll be CubaπŸ‘πŸ», I’ve never been nor would I but I know folk who have & they enjoyed the sense of stepping back in time & thought it very quaint😊

No problem the weather is too nice to waste time on the Internet anyway.smile

I agree with Dave Cyn rebranding is still work in progress - signage is still not uniform to represent the new. This has to be spread over several years so that members are not told the true cost.

Red Pennent is now meaningless as it does not reflect the club at all - so more expense down the line.

I do wonder why those who have, apparently, spent the last year on a survey researching beautiful places to stay in the UK with superior sites to those run by the club, should be so keen to suggest that "over there" is so much better/braver/mind broadening etc.than using the results of their survey.

Surely they'd have been better off carrying out their survey "over there"? wink

Some I wish would B off over there and join a European Club and post on their website.
