Adult Only Sites

I wholeheartedly concur with the Revd Robert Ireton's comments in the July magazine regarding Adult only sites or even perhaps segregated areas.

I have on numerous occasions suggested this to the Caravan Club but unfortunately the only response I received was a suggestion to use CL sites which I found rather condescending.

Our children have long since left home and we are at the stage where we value our time away from home and we look forward to the peace and quiet club sites can offer. Look around any club site mid week and it will be the likes of us who are supporting the club and yet the club appear to place more emphasis on family's than any other group.

Having just spent 2 weeks at the delightful Start Bay site it was virtually child free and yet full of people my generation which underlines my previous point. There are many sites the Club could use on a trial basis e.g. those with no toilet blocks yet the Club seem reluctant to consider any change fear of upsetting Family groups.

One other gripe, having to pay for WIFI, come on Caravan Club, be a little more generous and considerate to your senior members
