We’d like to invite you to our brand new Facebook page – which is live today – a special preview for Club Together members. We will be using Facebook to spread the word about The Club, share news, offers advice and inspiration; it joins our other channels in offering you more choice in how you connect with The Club.

We want you to join our ever-growing community, so we’re offering an exclusive. We are giving away 20 pairs of site night vouchers for this week only. All you need to do is find our Club Together milestone on our Facebook timeline and comment with #sitenightvoucher.

Please remember that Facebook is a public forum, we want to showcase the best of The Club and our members, so don’t forget to check out our House Rules.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on our new social media channels, please comment on this thread and let us know what you think.

I dought there are many members without access to the Tinternet but there seems to be a quite high proporsion who have no intention of having to be bombarded with junc from Twit FaceUndecidedFrown

As my original post was closed due to duplication, but no indication of where the existing thread was (the only competition  thread I could find is already closed), I'll post this here but it'll probably be lost in such a generic thread:

Does anyone else feel annoyed that the Facebook launch competition from the Caravan Club excludes huge swathes of the membership?

To celebrate the launch of the Facebook page, the Club are offering a £10,000+ all expenses rv'ing trip to New Zealand. Sounds fantastic.

But it's set departure and return dates, for 2 adults, for 38 days, and in under 2 months time! And it includes a year's Club membership if you're not already a member.  So not restricted to members either.

So no good for families, or those who work. Why couldn't the competition have been more inclusive, and offering, say, travel to NZ and rv hire up to a cost of £8k or so, with a partner travel agent and subject to availability.

Then a family could have gone for 2-3 weeks with the kids in the school holidays, or a working couple for 3 weeks next year once they had time off arranged, etc.

Thoughts?
