Caravanner of the Year on BBC this April!

All this programme has done is do irreparable damage to the reputation of the sensible members of the club. I hope whoever set it up will offer an apology to the members. I think the whole programme is an embarassment

The caravan and camping club must be laughing their socks off at this.

I never usually post on forums but this is beyond belief!  This is absolutely shocking. Caravan Club, you had the opportunity to make this a great advert for caravanning. To attract young families thinking about a caravan, or active couples looking for a new challenge, or anyone who was vaguely interested. Instead you have made us all look like a bunch of incompetent fools and a laughing stock. Most of us can pitch up and put up an awning with no problems. Who had this bright idea? Caravan Club you should be truly ashamed of yourselves.

Washing of caravans is strictly prohibited on site LOL 

I bet he got some dust under the back of his caravan when he ripped it off towing it up a stupid hill 

CEO you should resign after you have apologised for the damage you have done to caravanning !! 

I now need another holiday to get over this programme!

I'm totally embarrassed by this programme.

It's on BBC2 - and the national audience are being given the impression these are the best six "finalists" the Caravan Club could come up with. Which is rubbish.

 It's just confirming and reinforcing the prejudices against caravans that the likes of Clarkson have stoked and encouraged amongst "thirty-somethings" in their BMW & Audi "Ferraris" - and it will just lead to more road rage and aggression against our members when the Clarkson clones hit the road.

 Dearie me.
