Stayed for 6 nights, thought it was expensive. Booked a serviced pitch with awning which meant I'd need all my water butts etc. Was given a serviced pitch with full facilities, TV point, water, drainage I could have saved a lot of trouble if I'd known the pitch had full services. The awning area was gravelled on top of hard packed gravel which made it very difficult to hammer in awning pegs. The site is close to the town which has most stuff you want, be warned, last orders for food on a Sunday is around 6pm. Toilet block is very clean and not over busy. Unfortunately, like most sites, the usual barking dogs were very irritating with owners oblivious of their animals disturbing the peace. Fast food vans visit on different days in the evenings. Due to the dry conditions, barbeques were banned which I imagine ruined a lot of holidayers stay!
