Arrived Wednesday reception unwellcoming, empty shelves and old awning for sale layed on the floor. Favourite pitch now over looked by pods, struggle to find alternative as all pitches to small car has to be parked in front of caravan Pitches worn out and undefined as covered in leaves and mud. All grass edges churned up and muddy, pot holes on many corners, no attempt to rectify this by wardens only saw them empty bins. And then it rained, and due to the very poor condition of the site it flooded many pitches should have been taken out of service one cul-de-sac was not accessible on foot but nothing was done, 20ft section of road in front of our pitch was flood and we needed wellingtons to move arround. It is not Caravan Club standard and the people at the top should have alook and announce a schedule for it's reverbishment

with regard to flooding there has been a lot of rain and part of the clue to flooding is in the name Moreton-in-Marsh

It is not a site that I will use any longer though as I too find it cramped

Given the UK has just had the most rain in any February ever, I think you have to cut the CC a bit of slack. However, I would agree MM is crying out for refurbishment. Many of the awning pitches should not be sold as such. As to the pitch being overlooked. On the plan the pitches adjacent to the pods don't look any closer to the pods than other pitches.

When the weather has been the wetest Feb since records began, and with the site being at Morton in Marsh, may answer the conditions, that I would think ,was down to Mother Nature,  As others have noted the original area of the site is in much need of work to the pitches,

As for the office being empty , I would think the summer season wardens,   as it is them that run it   , not the club,  were in midst of buying the stock's  ,  as they would have possibly just arrived

Why do so many sites have pods they alter the atmosphere on site and make them more like commercial sites?
