Arrived Thursday no power as the rcd breaker had tripped out, power was restored by member is staff no problem, apparently it had tripped out several times for the previous visitors. Woke up on Saturday no power not sure when it went off phoned reception at around 8am was told I would have to wait they don't start till 8.30am, come in Saturday evening 10pm no power again don't no how long it has been off for but won't be using contents of fridge as it all felt too warm, phoned too see if trip could be reset was told it's not an emergency you have gas so can wait till morning, we don't come out in the middle of the night, not everything works off gas or 12v, and 10pm is not exactly the middle of the night oh well I guess you get what you pay for or in this case you don't get what you pay for ie mains electric hook up if I wanted to run on gas and battery I could parked in a lay by, great customer service.

That must have been really annoying for you.

However, it’s not a review of the site.

Hi Tinwheeler

I have given the site high ratings for the facilities, location, cleanliness as they are excellent but to have the power fail three times in as many days is in my opinion not what you expect.

May I point you towards the Community Guidelines where the guidelines for writing reviews ask that complaints are raised through appropriate channels.

I’ve known reviews that tell us nothing about the site to be Deleted User. Just saying.

It sounds like a faulty trip, which will no doubt be sorted when they can get an electrician to it. Ideally the pitch would be taken out of service but  MM is generally fully booked at weekends, so that might have been difficult. However, unless they have changed their policy, you have access to these on the EHU bollard. It just like resetting the one in your van.

The trouble is Steve, if you go out or there is an over night trip this creates problems, the pitch should have been taken out of action if it is a known fault. Too late now for the users unfortunately. frown

If the site was full at the weekend which is this site very often is then it may not have been possible to take out the pitch,at short notice without cancelling some body,

I agree that Andy should contact the club and explain the how the problem affected their stay, rather than as a "review"?

It has to be said that not all EHUs are yet accessable to the members
