Stunning Cotswolds

My wife and I stayed here in the summer with another couple in their motorhome.  The site is nice and varied and well kept.  One thing both myself and my friend didn't like, was the pitches were way too shallow.  This meant that your car was parked in such a way that it was way too close to the site road for comfort.  Both myself any my friend are overprotective admittedly of our vehicles, but it made us cringe every time a new person arrived towing a caravan and it skimmed the cars!  The reason for the 3 ticks on the 'Peace & Quiet' is simply because we were pitched against the main road at first and as it's a long straight, the cars and motorbikes seemed to gun it along there which became a little annoying, even for a petrolhead like me... Thankfully we were able to move after a couple of days and the new pitches were much quieter.  The wardens I dealt with couldn't be anymore helpful, if not a little overzelous with the club rules (pacing out peoples setups was funny to start off, but soon became irritating)  Saying that, it was busy there and it is a Caravan Club site where the rules are enforced with some enthusiasm, but as most club members know, there you do get those members of staff that enjoy that part of their job.  Overall a great location and a perfectly exceptable site to stay.  Some really nice restaurants and places to visit, but use TripAdvisor for this.   Would we stay again? Yes.
