having just stayed for the first timeI can why some of the previous reviews have not been very supporting. My wife and I really think that it good get a top star rating again as it is sited in a central position many places of special interest - that what makes it difficult to improve. The main failings in our opinion is mainly in 4 areas, the area on the right of the entrance needs updating by tree thining as some pitches are nearly dark even when the sun shines, gravel on the hardstandings have had their day, noisy pitches near main road and the wifi is poor because of the large tree coverage(it is not worth the cost). I know that it would mean closing off some areas of this very popular site to do the work but I am sure that it would improve the member experience immensely for our club to put in a some improvements, it must be financially possible as it is always full(£20+ per night). Looking forward to returning in the future and being able to give 5 stars.
