A lovely weekend at one of our favourite sites but it is such a shame the club has chosen to spend money adding glamping pods but not bothered spending money on the site itself. The roads are a disgrace, pot holes and when it rains large puddles. The pitches are desperate for some attention the hardstanding in places is full of moss which then makes them muddy when it rains. Many of the pitches are not big enough for the units using them, this leads to cars being parked on the grass and running over the grass when parking and leaving. Looking at the CAMC record of closing sites for long periods of time to do simple refurbs. no doubt they will eventually do the same here. Such a shame the club don't look after the members who pay membership fees and nightly fees to stay at a sub standard site. The wardens do a marvellous job keeping this site clean and trying to look after the pitches.
