A lovely team of staff on the site, very welcoming and hard working. I was concerned to see one of the team doing traffic control on the busy main road over the Sunday lunchtime period when we arrived. Traffic is travelling at least about 40 mph and the need to have traffic control by a team member standing in the road is putting this person at risk. Units arriving from Moreton centre have to be advised to travel 2 miles (beyond Bourton on the Hill) and then 2 miles back to access the site by only turning left into the site. The Club ought to look at the safety issues here! Staggered arrival times, should be implemented at busy times at this site, a reduction in the speed limit to 30 mph should be sought on the main road. This would also reduce the excessive noise created by speeding vehicles. Signs warning of caravans turning are inadequate, too small and too close to the site entrance. Slow road markings would assist. A major issue are the trees on site which have grown to "dizzy heights". Our motor home suffered several days of small branches and leaves raining down on the roof. There is rather too much shade, much of the site is gloomy and in shade. Management and reduction in the high tree cover appears not to be happening. I was concerned for personal safety of all unit occupiers - if unchecked heavy branches are likely to fall. The site is well positioned for touring the area, walking and bus services. Lack of safe provision for cyclists on the main road, put me off cycling from the site. As the site is open all the year round the aforementioned issues ought to be addressed and anything in this direction which is in hand or being considered should be publicised for the information of members. The site is great for short to medium length stays

When at the Tewkesbury site recently the check in procedure is to pitch first, after brief guidance from a warden, then return to the office to check in. This did a lot to  avoid the queues at entrance
