Just spent 10 days at this site and cant rate it high enough. Facilities are all covid run with wrist bands, so patience is a must some days, but that's a sign of the times and if everyone sticks to it we will be able to continue to use the camp sites. The wardens are all brilliant especially Julie and Andrew, they really did go above and beyond for us. Thank you both. The location is fantastic with just a 10 minute walk into Moreton its self. There are restaurants, coffee shops, a couple of small super markets some takeaways, something for everyone. The Swan was lovely very friendly staff and good food, we didn't have a good experience at the Inn on the marsh but each to their own. Everywhere you eat or drink you have to leave your name and phone number as per government guidelines. The cotswolds cheese company and the butchers (great for the bbq as will cut anything you want) are great for old fashioned 1-1 service. If you dont have a car but want to explore the fantastic areas around (we were in a motorhome or you like a drink or two) theres a bus stop outside and the time table is on there, there also a train station to go further a field both do day return tickets. Buses dont run on sat or sun but this might differ in summer hols. The only thing that some may find a gripe with is the location of the road as it could occasionally be noisy as others have said, so if that's a deal breaker for you dont book it. Thank you CAMC and your hard working staff they are a credit to the club and I wish all your wardens were the same.
